Sterling silver can tarnish when it reacts with air, moisture, and everyday products. Tarnish is a surface change, not proof that a piece is unsafe, but residue and roughness can feel uncomfortable on reactive skin.
After wearing, wipe your jewelry with a soft, dry cloth. Store it separately in a dry pouch or closed box. Take it off before swimming, showering, exercising, or using perfume, lotion, and household cleaners. Clean clasps, earring posts, and the backs of settings carefully, because these remain closest to skin.
Comfort is part of care. A beautiful piece should not be something you endure. Wear it when it supports how you want to feel, and set it aside when your skin asks for rest.
